About UFC International Fight Week
UFC International Fight Week is the Ultimate Fighting Championship's premier annual celebration of mixed martial arts, bringing together athletes, fans, media, and industry figures for several days of events centered around one of the year's biggest UFC pay-per-view cards. First introduced in 2012, the week has become the organization's flagship annual festival, typically taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada, and featuring activities that extend well beyond the fights themselves. International Fight Week is generally held in late June or early July, although the exact dates vary each year according to the UFC calendar. The celebration usually concludes with a major numbered UFC pay-per-view event featuring championship bouts or other high-profile matchups. In addition to the fights, fans can attend ceremonial weigh-ins, athlete meet-and-greets, autograph sessions, fan experiences, live podcasts, press conferences, and the UFC Hall of Fame induction ceremony. The week attracts thousands of visitors from around the world and serves as the sport's biggest annual gathering. Current champions, legendary fighters, rising prospects, and UFC personalities participate in events that celebrate the history and future of mixed martial arts. The centerpiece pay-per-view is often one of the most anticipated combat sports events of the year. A common misconception is that International Fight Week is a single fight card. In reality, it is a multi-day festival built around a marquee UFC pay-per-view, combining fan events, ceremonies, media activities, and elite mixed martial arts competition. While the featured fighters and championship bouts change each year, International Fight Week remains the UFC's signature annual celebration.
